Delete your Hours Mate account
Drivers can request deletion of their HGV Hours Mate login and the records associated with it. You can make a request even if you cannot sign in to the app.
How to request deletion
Email SLH at slhhaulageservices@hotmail.com with the subject Hours Mate account deletion. Tell us your Hours Mate username, or the email address used for your login. Do not send your password, tachograph card number or licence number.
We will check that the request is from the account holder and explain the next steps. If you have unsynced activity records on your phone, export and keep a copy before changing or removing the app. Use your tachograph as the official record.
What the request covers
The request covers your Hours Mate sign-in, cloud activity history, saved app details and any current company-link summary held by SLH. We will explain any records that must be retained and for how long when we respond. Removing your account cannot erase information that a company already copied or retained separately; contact that company about its own copy.
Deleting the app from your phone alone does not request deletion of your online account. If you no longer have access to the login email, contact us at the same address so we can check another way to verify your request.
Response and copies on your phone
We normally respond to a data-rights request within one month, with any lawful extension or exception explained. We may check your identity using proportionate information; do not send your password.
Online deletion does not wipe copies already stored on a phone, in an exported file, in an email attachment or held separately by an employer. After we confirm the account request, follow our instructions for clearing local copies on each device. Export any records you lawfully need before clearing storage. Android Settings → Apps → Hours Mate → Storage → Clear data removes that installation's local records; do not do this before preserving any required records.
