Data protection complaints
Updated 4 October 2026. This process covers Hours Mate, Letters at Leisure support correspondence and our handling of your information.
Tell us what happened
Email slhhaulageservices@hotmail.com or call 01752 936902. You can also write to SLH Haulage Services Ltd, 14 Newtown, Cornwood, Ivybridge, England, PL21 9QL. Explain your concern, the app involved and the outcome you would like. No particular wording or form is required. Do not include passwords, full licence numbers or sensitive accident photographs.
What we do
We record and acknowledge your complaint within 30 days. We take appropriate steps to investigate without undue delay, keep you informed where necessary, and explain our findings and any corrective action. If we need information to investigate, we explain what we need and why. There is no charge for raising a complaint.
A data-rights request, such as access or deletion, has its own legal deadline and is handled alongside a complaint when relevant. An urgent security incident is assessed promptly; it does not wait for the complaint deadline.
If you remain dissatisfied
You can ask us to review our response and you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office. Raising a complaint with us does not remove your legal rights.
Company-held records may be the responsibility of your employer. We explain our own role and help you identify the appropriate contact where possible.
