This policy applies to Letters at Leisure for Android (package name com.wordsolitaire.game), provided by SLH Haulage Services Ltd.

Versions covered

Version 0.1.9 and earlier are offline versions without advertising, analytics or third-party tracking. Version 0.1.10 introduces Google AdMob advertising and the privacy choices described below. Publication of this policy does not mean that the advertising update is already available on Google Play.

Your game information

No account is required. We do not operate a server that receives your saved games or a player email database. Gameplay can continue offline. Advertising in versions that include it requires an internet connection.

Advertising and information shared with Google

Versions with advertising use the Google Mobile Ads SDK (AdMob). It collects and shares your device's IP address, which may indicate approximate location; device and account identifiers, including the Android advertising ID and app set ID where available; interactions with the app and advertising; and diagnostic information, such as crash and performance information. Google processes this information for advertising, measurement and analytics, and fraud prevention. The game does not request precise GPS location, contacts, camera or microphone access.

AdMob and the advertising partners identified in the consent message may process advertising information. Read Google's Privacy Policy and Google's advertising information for their practices, retention, international processing and controls. We receive advertising reports rather than your saved game contents.

Your advertising choices

Where required, including for users in the UK, EEA and Switzerland, a Google consent message presents the available advertising and data-use choices. You can manage your choices and withdraw consent using the advertising privacy options in the game's Privacy section when available. Consent governs processing that requires it; other processing may rely on the legal bases identified in the consent message. Choosing against personalised advertising does not necessarily prevent all processing: permitted limited advertising and security or fraud-prevention processing may still occur. The game remains playable if an advertisement is unavailable.

You can also use Android's privacy settings to reset or delete your advertising ID. Deleting locally saved game data does not delete information already held by Google or advertising partners. Their privacy notices explain their retention and how to exercise rights concerning that information.

Information stored on your device

The app saves game progress, scores, undo history and display settings locally on your device so you can continue playing. We cannot access this information. It is not uploaded to our servers.

Keeping and deleting saved progress

Your saved game information remains in the app's local storage until you clear the app's storage or uninstall the app. Updating the existing installation normally preserves saved progress. You can remove locally stored information through Android Settings by selecting the app and clearing its storage. This resets your progress and settings.

Device services

Any backup or restoration performed by Android or your device provider is governed by your device settings and that provider's privacy policy. We do not receive or manage those backups.

Contacting us

If you email us, we receive your email address and the information you choose to send. We use it to respond to your enquiry, retain it only as needed to handle the enquiry and any applicable legal obligations, and do not use it for advertising. Our lawful basis for ordinary support correspondence is our legitimate interest in answering enquiries and maintaining the game. Where we must handle a statutory data-rights request, we rely on the applicable legal obligation. Email is processed by our email provider, Microsoft; its services may involve processing outside the UK. We review applicable provider terms and transfer arrangements. Please do not send passwords, identity documents or sensitive information when reporting a game problem. You may contact us to request deletion of your support correspondence, subject to any legal retention requirements.

Your rights over support information

You can ask for access, correction, erasure or restriction of support information, and object to processing based on legitimate interests. Portability applies where the legal conditions are met. Contact the privacy address below; we may check your identity proportionately and normally respond within one month, with any lawful extension explained. You may complain to the Information Commissioner's Office. These requests concern information we hold; we cannot retrieve your locally saved game.

Website and store services

This notice describes the Android app and our support correspondence. Visiting this website or using Google Play involves the respective hosting or store providers, which may process connection, account and security information under their own arrangements. Saved game contents are not uploaded to those services; advertising versions share SDK information as described above.

Children's privacy

The older offline versions do not collect player information. Advertising versions involve the SDK processing described above. Parents or guardians with questions about a child's information should contact us. We do not ask players to provide names, email addresses or dates of birth within the game.

Data protection complaints

If you are unhappy with how we use your information, email slhhaulageservices@hotmail.com. We acknowledge data protection complaints within 30 days, investigate them and explain the outcome and any action taken. You can also complain to the ICO. See our complaints process.

Changes to this policy

We will update this policy if the app's privacy practices change. Future features that collect or share data will be described in an updated policy and relevant app disclosures.
